This is a character created by friend and story teller Mr. Jack Fowler; Douglas Dapper, an irrepressible explorer and narrative engineer. We've been plotting the possibilities of strip adaptations of some of his current repertoire of nautical tales (check him out at the National Maritime Museum Cornwall in Falmouth during the holidays this year!) and this piece is by way of putting some colour on the bones of the idea...
