Just been putting the final touches to issue two of Dana Larsen's 12 part adaptation of his own hempen pastiche novel, 'Hairy Pothead'. Not sure of publication dates at the moment; all that side of things is going on over in Canada where Dana is balancing a constantly hectic schedule of politics and campaigning along with all his other creative and business commitments. After running for parliament last year as a candidate for the British Columbia National Democrat Party he recently made a very convincing bid for party leader...and doesn't look like slowing down yet! This chap seems to have more drive than a box full of Bob Monkhouses...
This has been quite a mammoth session for me, handling all the artwork, colouring, lettering, covers, layout and design myself, and fitting other commission work in around it. Could still be a while till publication but copies are bound to find their way to the UK dreckly. Here's a preview of the cover for issue #2 with some sample pages.
